Yoga Stretch is broken into four 10-minute segments, with each serving to bring a higher level of awareness to breathing practices, alignment, flexibility, and range of motion. Movements made are slow and fluid, and are done in combination with relaxed, even breaths. Proper posture and alignment are emphasized, as well as the idea of bringing balance to the mind, body, and breath. All four segments are performed to the tune of relaxing yoga-style music, with segments 1 and 2 being demonstrated in a seated position while bonus segments 3 and 4 are done lying down. Modifications are provided throughout in order to make it appropriate for anyone of any age and/or capability. Participants will walk away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
