Introduction
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Rob Winningham, Psychology and Gerontology Professor at Western Oregon University and a widely respected expert on cognitive stimulation, is partnering with Activity Connection to bring you a series of videos.

Cognitive Stimulation Certification Program
The video entitled Brain Training: How to Maintain or Even Improve Memory Ability is intended for viewing by your residents. The other eight videos are intended for activity and health care professionals. They can be purchased individually or as a complete set (they will be sent to you by priority mail).
After viewing each video, you can log in to Activity Connection, click the “My Account” link, select your course from the "Latest Courses" box, and take an online multiple choice test. A Certificate of Completion is available for download after passing each test. You can also download the various slides used in the video presentation. These make a great reference tool. Dr. Winningham has offered a similar certification program for years and thousands of people have completed it. Most people claim it is the most valuable training they have ever experienced.
After passing all eight tests, you will become a Certified Cognitive Stimulation Instructor and a diploma will be mailed to you.
Although we believe the program has great value in its own right, we have not applied to have it approved by the NCCAP or the NAAPCC for continuing education hours.
