ActivityConnection.com offers a wide variety of online courses. All of which are approved by the NCCAP (www.nccap.org) for Continuing Education hours. Below are a few quick tips for taking our online courses. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach us using the "Contact Us" link above.
Purchasing an Online Course:
Purchasing one of our online courses is just as easy as shopping at any other online store. Just add the courses that you would like to purchase to your virtual "cart" using the "Add to Cart" button next to the course.
If you change your mind, you can click on the trash can to the left of the course to remove it from your cart.
If you accidentally add a course twice, you can change the quantity using the pulldown box to the left of the course. Just make sure to click on the save icon once you have changed the quantities so that they will take effect.
Once you are ready, click on the "Checkout Now" button. You will be prompted to login to your ActivityConnection.com account or create a new account if you don't already have one.
An ActivityConnection.com account is free of charge and will allow you to access your course mateiral as well as process quick purchases of our products/services and post to our popular Activity Forum. You can also purchase an ActivityConnection.com subscription for your account that gives you access to all of our wonderful Subscriber Resources, but this is not required and is entirely optional.
Getting Your Course Material:
Once you have purchased an ActivityConnection.com online course, you will be able to login to your ActivityConnection.com account using your username and password. On the first page that appears after you login, you will see a link for "Your Courses". You will also see this link in the
upper left hand region of our website as you navigate.
The "Your Courses" page is where you will want to go to obtain your course material and eventually take your online test and generate your certificate of completion. If you click on the "Your Courses" link, you will see a list of all the courses that you have purchased for this account.
To the right of each course, you will see a section titled "Documentation" and directly below you will see a link that says "Click Here to Download this Courses Material". If you click on this link, you will begin to download the file associated with this particular course.
Completing the Online Test:
When you are ready, you can return to the "Your Courses" page and select the button titled "Take Course" to begin your automated online test.
The test will consist of multiple choice and True/False questions. Once you have provided all of your answers, click on the "Grade Course" button at the bottom of the test to have your answers automatically graded.
After just a moment, you will see your test results and if you passed. If you didn't, don't worry because you can re-take the test as many times as needed.
Your Certificate of Completion:
Once you have passed the online test, you will see a new button under the course description to generate your certificate of completion. When you select this button, you will be prompted to enter the name that you would like to appear on the certificate. This is auto-filled using the information on file with your account, but you can change this to whatever you like at this point. Just make sure that you have the name that you want on the certificate listed before you continue to the next step. Once you generate the certificate, then name cannot be changed.
Congratulations! You have now completed your ActivityConnection.com online course.
