Can You See the Big Picture?

These are close-ups of things you have probably seen. Can you tell what they are?

Two levels of difficulty:

There are two close-ups for each object. One is taken from very close-up, giving only a few clues about the object. In the second picture, the camera zooms out to show more of the object.

Game and discussion:

Use the photos for a guessing game and discussion. Show the more difficult photo first. Give the group some time to study the picture and speculate on what it might be. If you want, give some clues. If no one figures it out, "zoom out" and show more of the picture. Finally, show the complete photo. Then discuss the object - what it is used for, etc.
