This course will discuss OBRA ’87 and the changes reflected in the guidelines that were implemented in June 2006. It will also provide suggestions on how to implement the guidelines. The course is based in part on an interview with Michele Nolta, CTRS, ACC, and on some of her writings. Michele is a recreation therapist and consultant who has written numerous books on activities and documentation for long-term care.
