Poetry Programming Demystified: 4 CE Hours

This course is approved by both the NCCAP and the NAAPCC for 4 CE Hours.

Many people – both activity leaders and their participants – shy away from poetry because they see it as too serious or too hard to understand. But they are missing out on a wide range of fun and fascinating program ideas if they skip it. This course will teach you how to use poetry as a subject for:

-Reminiscence and discussions
-Word games
-Trivia questions
-Writing exercises

It will also teach you to adapt poetry exercises for people with dementia. Most of all, it will teach you to have fun with poetry.
