Along the Garden Path is a collection of 52 diverse activities, gardening without getting your hands dirty, planting ideas that may need nurturing, but don’t have to be watered.  These activities are designed to serve as conversation starters, memory triggers, and perhaps spark a few ideas along the way.  There are a few gardening suggestions and a healthy crop of good humor to harvest.

This book is a journey down the garden path from yesterday into tomorrow.  It was written for activity and horticultural therapy programs in senior communities, adult day care programs and senior meal sites.   Families and friends can also enjoy strolling through these pages, mentally pausing to smell the flowers, harvesting a few veggies and perhaps pulling a few weeds along the way.  Like a real garden there are surprises, discoveries to be made, ideas to be discussed, and opinions to be voiced.  The mysteries of Sherlock Humus add an element of fun along the way.
