Another great game for intergenerational activities from the makers of Buzzword. We recommend that the game be played in teams - the more the merrier! The game is easy to play; one teammate reads a clue and the rest of their team comes up with as many answer pairs as possible. For example, a clue may read "catalog creator" and the team would have to guess "Sears and Roebuck" within the time limit for a point.

Smart Mouth

The quick-thinking word game where players engage in rapid-fire - and often hilarious - verbal combat. Individually or in teams, players slide the Letter Getter device forward and back to reveal two lettered tiles. The first player to spot and shout out a word of at least five letters, beginning with the first letter tile (orange) and ending with the second letter tile (green), receives those two tiles. Player(s) with the most tiles at the end wins.

Rules of game play can easily be modified based on skill level. For example, if players are having a hard time coming up with five letter words, you can simply lower the letter amount. It would also be possible to play by coming up with words that include both shown letters but don't necessarily have to begin and end with them. Playing with teams instead of individuals will take the pressure off people who may be shy and increases social skills.
