Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for games that we can use in our supportive living community of 46 for our Halloween party??  I have came up with a pumkin painting contest and ring toss.  Thanks!

We are doing eating donuts off string contest, a pumpkin toss (with little fake pumpkins) and a rely race with large wooden spoons and candy corn.  We'll have halloween songs playing in the background and we r decorating cookies

I work in Long Term Care and have set up an activity called "The Great Pumpkin Games".  We have three games and use three carved pumpkins, using the same pumpkins for all three games.

First Game:

Pumpkin Penny Pitch - Using three carved pumpkins, lined with plastic wrap or tin foil (making sure the opening is fairly large).  Place the pumpkins a few feet away from the residents.  Give each resident ten pennies (we use poker chips).  Each penny they get into the pumpkin, a piece of candy is won!

Second Game:

Pumpkin Ring Toss - Using the three pumpkins and giving each resident a turn, they get three rings (I used the hard ring from a fold up mesh laundry basket purchased at Family $, I cut the rings away from the mesh, It's large enough to fit over the pumpkin).  Place pumpkins several feet away from resident.  Two pieces of candy are given for a ringer and one piece is given for a leaner.

Third game:

Pumpkin Bocce - Place one of the pumpkins several feet away from the residents, give each resident a small gourd.  The resident that rolls their gourd the closest to the pumpkin wins a piece of candy.

Hope these games help!  Have fun and Happy Halloween!

These   games are great thank you so much! I am going to have a small spook alley. There will be a table for them to stick their hands in difftrebt items. A fortune taler. I take a portabel stand up basketball net and make it into a goul using it for the base. He holds a trick or treat bag that has been pulled over the net. The residents throw rats and bats into it to win a prize. Then the goodie table.Shrunken head punch and mummys on a stick. Followed by Frankienstiens bride lying on a shower gurney with a string light show above her head. The penny picth game you suggested completes it!
