Hmmm, never thought about that before. Do you want to have the seniors do something, or do you want the community to do something for the seniors? Perhaps you can contact AARP for some thoughts and volunteer projects, or United Way (or any group you're already volunteering for). Maybe a food drive.

You could make a poster presentation of famous seniors that do good works. You could ask residents and family members to share a 'good work' from each of your residents and post that, too, to demonstrate the value and desire to be living a life of purpose. You could ask each resident to share one thing they are proud of, or what bit of wisdom they would give to young people just starting out, and do a project/presentation about that (maybe submit to a local newspaper to celebrate your seniors accomplishments).
