Have you ever heard of the un-game or scruples, I don't know what kind of questions Penny Ante asks but these are situational and what would you do if - There is also trivia - What kind of questions does the penny ante game ask?

My residents have so much for with the game. We too were getting tired of the same questions. So...after ono of the games I passed out pencils and papers and asked residents to help come up with new questions. The questions they come up with are usually way more exciting than the printed ones. Sometimes residents come to me unexceptly with a list of great ones...what is even better is that they get a real kick out of hearing their own question used.

Hello, yes we play penny ante and the residents usually get a good laugh out of it.  I have made up my own questions but I also use the questions from "Shake out the Truth".  The residents are usually very forth coming with their answers.  I usually do this once or twice a year and its great for  residents to get to know any new residents.  I could e-mail you a copy if you like.

some of our questions are like "if you remember using an outhouse take a penny from the pot" or If you have ever skipped school take a penny from the player on the left.. I have not heard of any of them games.. something I need to look in to. We made our own questions so we dont have  either red or blue.

this sounds interesting and I've never heard of it before.  Can someone please explain how to play this game?

It is a game in which the residents draw a card and it will say something like, "take a penny if you've ever been to the zoo." or "Give a penny to every person who has blue eyes". It's very fun, and can get the residents reminscing and talking to each other.

I have made up some of my own spring/summer and autumn cards. If you email me at aurora.crew@waverlyheightsltd.org, I will send them to you.  There aren't enough to play just with them, but you can mix them in with the existing card for a little bit of flair.  In the past, I had made up Philadelphia specific questions too, such as "Take a penny if you've ever run down the art museum stairs like Rocky." and "Give a penny to each person who lived in Delaware county."  Things that local people would have done.  I have since lost those cards in my travels from place to place, so i can't pass them on, but they would really only be useful to anyone living in the Philadelphia area.

I have made up my own questions on index cards..when I think of one, I write it down...I now have a entire extra set of cards to play with and the residents love it!!
