Who still goes by Activity Director or Recreation Director, CNA, housekeeping, Nurse?

My boss wants me to do a proposal on title changes.  Just curious as to what your title is for all of the above.

Thank you

Nurses and CNAs - Care Directors and Care Engineers, respectively

Housekeeping - Environmental Services

When I worked at an assisted living as an aide, my title was Resident Life Partner (RLP) I liked that. My understanding was that if an aide is a CNA they must indicate that as such as you have to be certified for some care giving. So, if you change the title, they still need CNA after their name. Since becomning an activity director that has been my title or now in Adult Day I am Activity Coordinator. I do like how Life Enrichment Director sounds and captures our misson. I also like Wellness Director or Facilitor. I think if anyone has qualifications, that should be indicated on their title as well like ADC (NCCAP's Activity Director Certified) or AP-BC (NAAP's Activity Professional, Board Certified) as it brings recognition to the professionalism of our field which still isn't widly recognized. When I had activity assistants I called them Activity Leaders once they had a year of experience. It is sometimes frusterating for the assistant as if they can't be a director there is no opportunity for advancement which is why I like the Activity Leader title.

I am the Activity Mentor. We do this because every single member of the staff is (ideally...) responsible for activities, and I am here to serve as a mentor to them if they need assistance.

My title was changed to Life Enrichment Director a few months ago. We call our CNA's Resident Assistants or Care Partners. Our nurses are the wellness staff and the Director of Nursing is now the Director of Wellness. Our housekeeper does not really have a title other than that. At another facility I worked at before, the CNA's were called PALS, which was short for something but I can't remember the exact wording but it sounded nice refering to them as the pals.

Our official titles are "therapy aides." I'm the Therapy Aide Supervisor, my non-cna assistants are Therapy Aide Is and my cna assistants are Therapy Aide IIs. Kinda sounds like we should be doing restorative nursing imo.
