What is your vacation and personal days benefits like?
I am frustrated because I do not get any personal days or vacation days until I have been worrking a full year. That is a long time to go without even a personal day.
Tell me about yours. |

We use the PTO system (paid time off). This is vacation, sick, personal all together. We can bank hours up to 480 and after that we stop earning until you use some. I have been here for 5 years and earn around 18 hours of PTO a month. That is about 4 weeks of time a year. We are non- profit as well. |

That's actually not uncommon. I've had a few jobs where you had to accrue the time during the first year. You shouldn't have to wait an entire year though. You normally accrue 2 weeks (or whatever) by the end of the year, but you can typically take a day once you accrue the 8 hours. |

We use PTO as well, being a salaried employee I earn around 8 hrs every 2wk pay period. We are able to use the PTO as soon as we earn it, but of course it's up to your managers discreation. |
