We are putting on our own "state fair" at our assisted living facility this month with music and games all afternoon. The whole community is involved! Any ideas for prizes that won't seem too cheap or cheesy? |

My residents like stuffed animals like you would win when you play a carnival game, sodas as prizes for a ring toss game and little trinkets. In Iowa, our state fair has a tradition of showing a cow carved out of about 100 lbs of Butter, so we are doing a butter cow carving contest this year. If your state's fair showcases something traditional like that you could hold a contest and give away ribbons. |
