when the state was here for survey they looked at my particapation logs(March) and my in room book. Last year I got dinged for in room visits. They said when I see someone and they are sleeping make note (i do) and go again and if still sleeping make note and put down will try again the next day. So this year book looks great. they watched just little bit I mean very little in day room activities. They really looked at resident council and talked daily to the very alert residents. when they closed for their survey and all department heads listen to what they had to say, they didn't mention activities once again nursing. But I really won't know until we get their final report so if there is something I will post. |

KUDO'S, what a great job you did!! Keep up the good work. What State are you in? I am in Mich. and our survey window is open and I beleive after my 30 yrs. of experience, we should do fine, but who knows with the new MDS 3.0. |
