How about your residents/clients? A mentally fit lifestyle means overcoming monotony and routine. (Monotony can generate mental and emotional lethargy and resignation.) A varied and interesting activities program can help alleviate boredom for residents, and Activity Connection.com is a good place to start. Celebrate March to the Beat of a Different Drummer Day (July 16), Humdrum Hump Day (July 25) and Eliminate Ennui Day (July 29) this month.

Back Rub Month or Massage Month - Give everyone a good back or shoulder massage this month. Invite a massage therapist to demonstrate some techniques.
Social Wellness Month - Plan plenty of social activities for your residents this month. Begin with our Parties & Socials page.
